Dear Snow Hill Families,

It is with great pride and excitement that I announce that our very own teacher,      Mrs. Mallory Packard, has been selected as the Tennessee Lottery Teacher of the Month

In May she was selected as Channel 9 and Tennessee Lottery Teacher of the Week, which made us all jump for joy, because we know how deserving Mrs. Packard is of this special recognition.  She was then voted Channel 9 and Tennessee Lottery Teacher of the year for our area~  We are now thrilled to hear that she has been named the Tennessee Lottery Teacher of the Month for all of Tennessee! 

Mrs. Packard does incredible work with her first grade students at Snow Hill Elementary.  She is not satisfied until all of her students experience success.  How does she ensure success for each student?  She carefully and consistently collects data and uses it to guide her instruction.  She analyzes what each student needs to go to the next level.  A visit to her classroom will find all students engaged and excited about learning.  She supports all learners and she shows that learning can be fun and challenging.  She guides her students to be thinkers and how to solve difficult problems.  She is an innovative teacher, who searches out opportunities that will engage and excite her students about learning.  Mrs. Packard loves learning and she passes on this love to her students.
